The man struck by a vehicle while walking on a crosswalk lane in Iowa died on June 4, the Sioux City Journal reported.
Robert Ibsgaard, 70, on May 29 was walking on a pedestrian lane across Hamilton Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle operated by Mark Beltran. The 22-year-old driver reportedly fled the accident scene, but authorities later found him. Though charges of not yielding on a pedestrian lane, fleeing the accident scene, and driving with an invalid license were filed against Beltran, police may file additional charges against him.
