A Cedar Rapids squad car was hit by another vehicle on Wednesday, while the police vehicle was responding to an emergency call.  According to police, the vehicle was driving eastbound on Johnson Avenue, driving quickly because it was responding to a medical emergency call, when a car driving southbound on Edgewood Road hit the car in the rear passenger door.
