Japanese automaker Nissan recently issued two recalls that affect 13,000 2014 vehicle models, including the Versa Note, a report stated on Tuesday, August 6.
In the first recall, 7,707 2014 Note hatchbacks have loose or missing bolts on
the lower body sill. The second recall affects around 7,782 vehicles with a defective latch bolt that can be found in the back seat. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, these recalls are being made as the defects can result in injuries if a car accident occurs. All owners of these affected vehicles are advised to have their cars fixed by their dealers for free.
Unfortunately, thousands of Americans sustain injuries every year due to defective vehicles. In these situations, victims can often seek compensation and justice from the negligent manufacturer at fault.
